As Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Board of Telx, Eric Shepcaro is responsible for leading and directing the growth of this premier owner and operator of network-neutral colocation and interconnection facilities. Focusing on carriers, ISPs, enterprises and content owners, Shepcaro is looking to expand the company through organic and inorganic growth. Since joining Telx in January 2007, Shepcaro has overseen the merger and acquisition of NYC Connect, a competing corporation based in New York City and expansions in various markets. Shepcaro joined Telx with over 25 years of experience working in the Network/IT industries in both public and startup companies. Most recently he worked with AT&T, where he served as Senior Vice President of Business Development and Emerging Services and chair for AT&T’s Emerging Technology Forum, which included AT&T’s largest global enterprise customers. As Senior VP, Shepcaro was responsible for identifying and launching new lines of business for AT&T by leveraging new and existing technologies. Shepcaro holds a bachelor’s degree and an MBA and is active in numerous charitable endeavors. He is a frequent speaker at leading industry events and has published several papers.
